Girdwood Parks and Recreation purchased tools to work on local trails. Tools will be stored and maintained for use by volunteer and paid trail work crews and will maximize the efficiency of volunteers and staff.
Chain saws, Pulaski axes, Macleod, pick mattock, leaf blower, sledgehammer, trail wheelbarrow, and powered wheelbarrow. Items have been vetted with a professional trail-building crew with the US Forest Service Glacier Ranger District for type and quality.
